Robert Creighton - President

University of Wisconsin-Madison, Masters in Business, BS-Genetics

Rob invented the first generation kite engine while managing a comparative biosciences research laboratory at UW-Madison. During business school he negotiated an exclusive license with key patent holders in related technologies to found the company.

 

Andy Stough - VP of Engineering

North Carolina State, MS Mechanical Engineering.  Ohio State Univ., BS Mechanical Engineering.

Andy is an accomplished engineer previously employed with Caterpillar where he led a team of six responsible for designing components totaling over $40,000,000 in annual spending, developed patented technology, and implemented a “demand fan” saving customers ~$200 million in fuel costs.  

 

Matt Bennett - VP of Research and Development

Virginia Tech, BS, MS, and PhD in Mechanical Engineering

He is responsible for the design of the electromechanical control system hardware and software components in the airborne energy system.  Matt founded a technology-based startup, has experience with Department of Defense contracting, and the patent application process.
